Lokoja Transport Taskforce C’ttee Chair lauds Lg Boss, Usman

Consequent from the need to revitalize the moribund transport sector of Lokoja Local Government which resulted in setting up of a committee to oversee the quest to breathe life into mobility of goods and people from the area to other parts of the country, the team have been settling in well and are putting everything necessary to ensure that the objective is met.
The committee is putting everything in place and as promised during their inauguration, they are taking daily returns from their ticket sales to the bank and regular reports are being taken to the management of the council for appraisals.
The Chairman of the Committee, Comrade Bala Ibrahim, in addition to above views also heaped praises on the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government, Hon Aliyu Baba Usman, while speaking to The Graphic at their operational locale at the council secretariat in Lokoja, recently.
Comrade Ibrahim apprised that they have been yielded a conducive atmosphere to
operate the Chairman and thanked him for the way he has piloted the affairs of the council so far, and the management of the Local Government for the cooperation they have enjoyed, saying that has spurred them putting their best in the responsibilities on their shoulders.
He thanked members of the committee for their cooperation, adding that whatever success they may have been able to achieve in their short period since inauguration was due to the tranquil manner they have continued to carry out their affairs.
Also speaking, the secretary of the committee, Hon Ampitan Agoyi (JP), thanked Hon Aliyu Baba Usman for his developmental strides, saying that they feel highly fortunate to work with his administration while adding that the committee are ready to ensure that the revenues accruable form the sector are remitted to the coffers of the council.
