Madrid haven’t given up on Falcao
Real Madrid are still keen on signing Radamel Falcao, according to reports in the Spanish Press.
Mundo Deportivo has insisted this afternoon that President Florentino Perez is still not convinced with the club’s striking options, and will try to add the Monaco man either in January or next summer.
Following the departure of Gonzalo Higuain, Karim Benzema is the only senior centre-forward in the Blancos squad – something that is worrying the side’s hierarchy.
The Colombia international moved from Atletico Madrid to the French Riviera this summer, despite interest from the Santiago Bernabeu side.
A clause in his Atleti contract forbid him from moving across the capital, but that is now not the case with the Ligue 1 team.
