Morocco will in Marrakech on Wednesday host the 6th Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum.
This Foreign-minister-level meeting is held in accordance with the memorandum signed by the Arab League and Russia in 2009.
The last session of this Forum was held in April 2019 in Moscow. During this meeting, Morocco was chosen to host the 6th edition.
Due to Covid-19, the Forum was postponed several times in previous years.
At the request of the Arab League, Morocco, which currently chairs the Ministerial Council of the League, will host, on December 20 in Marrakech, the 6th edition of this Forum.
This edition will be held in the format of an expanded Troika: Secretary General of the League, the three members of the Arab ministerial Troika, as well as the Presidency of the Summit.
Participation will also be open to ministerial delegations. During this Forum, discussions will mainly focus on cooperation between Russia and the Arab world.
