Real Madrid are reportedly set to offload two of their players, Ferland Mendy and Federico Valverde, in order to facilitate a transfer for Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have re-emerged as a potential suitor for Mbappe after the forward’s confirmation that he will not be extending his current deal with PSG beyond 2024.

The Los Blancos are hoping to fill the void left by striker Karim Benzema by bringing Mbappe to the Spanish capital.

Benzema has already left Real Madrid to join Saudi side Al-Ittihad.

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid have identified Mendy and Valverde as players who could help them raise capital this summer to fund Mbappe’s signature.

Real Madrid are keen to make the most of the pair’s popularity among a host of clubs.

Meanwhile, PSG left Mbappe out of their pre-season tour of Japan on Saturday.

The Parisians are more interested in selling the 24-year-old this summer than losing him on a free transfer next summer.
