Moroccan company to build 640 houses in Congo

The Congolese government has signed an agreement with a Moroccan real estate promoter, Addoha, for the construction of 640 houses in Congo.

A communiqué released in Brazzaville on Wednesday said the agreement was the first phase of a pilot project for the construction of houses in the Central African state.

Addoha group, set up by Anas Sefrioui, has already started the construction of 4,000 houses in the Guinean capital, Conakry.

In April, the Moroccan company concluded an agreement for 2,600 houses in the Ivorian city of Abidjan while it is also operating in Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Gabon.

In May, the director in charge for Addoha, Saâd Sefrioui, said that the goal of the group was to construct 15,000 houses in sub-Saharan Africa.
