NFF 2022 elections: My agenda sits well with the 10 years football master plan – Seyi Akinwunmi

One of the leading candidates for the upcoming Nigeria Football Federation elections, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi says his visions for Nigeria Football will not be at conflict with the implementation of the 10-years football master plan of the Federal Government.

The Master plan was recently approved by President Muhammad Buhari and has been widely described as a world class document.

While many stakeholders across the country have hailed the four point agenda of Barrister Akinwunmi, the Lagos state FA Chairman maintained that he is in a good position to implement the master plan if voted as the next NFF President.

” My vision of Football First which is anchored on Equity, Inclusiveness and Democratisation is exactly what the 10 years Master Plan is also centred on.

” As a matter of fact I am the Master Plan if I get elected as the next President of the NFF”.

” My four point Agenda talks about football Economy, football business, Football infrastructure and football technology and if you take a critical look at the Master Plan ,it has a short , medium and long term targets that cover the four areas of my vision for Nigeria Football”, he added.

The 2022 NFF Election is expected to hold on the 30th of September in Benin and Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi is seen as not only one of the leading Candidates but someone who can unify the entire Nigeria football family because of his accessibility and detribalised personality.
