NFF 2022 Elections: Professional body drums support for Emeruwa’s presidential ambition
Impressed by his strategic plans to turn the dwindling fortunes of Nigeria football around, Nigeria Association of Physical Health Education Recreation, Dance & Sport (NAPHER-SD) has officially endorsed Dr. Christian Emeruwa to contest the position of the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
In the meeting attended by top executives and members of the body on Tuesday, August 30, the group lauded Emeruwa’s strategic plans and road maps geared towards the development of football in Nigeria.
The Secretary of NAPHER-SD, Dr. Franz Atere while commending the first and best of its kind presentation made by Emeruwa noted that for the first time in the history of our football, a candidate emerges with clear road map and workable strategies for the advancement of football and the growth of football internal economy in Nigeria.
The August 30 meeting held via zoom confirmed Dr. Emeruwa as one of the frontline candidates setting the pace in modern trends in football even as the astute football administrator and Founder/ Head, Safety and Security Department of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt, has become the first NFF Presidential aspirant to be endorsed by a professional body in Nigeria.
