NFF Considers Foreign Coach for Super Falcons
The Nigeria Football Federation says there is every possibility of bringing a foreign coach to handle the Super Falcons if interim coach Edwin Okon fails to impress.
Okon is currently in Japan with members of the Falcons squad for a two legged friendly against world champions Japan where they lost 2 nil in the first of the matches.
NFF president Aminu Maigari said the federation is looking for an alternative if Okon fails to deliver.
Okon was appointed to temporarily take the reins following the exit of former coach, Kadiri Ikhana, who led the Falcons to a disappointing fourth place finish at the 2012 African Women’s Championships in Equatorial Guinea.
