“Nigeria can win World Cup, If l become NFF President”, Orji Uzor Kalu

A former Governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu has indicated his interest to contest for the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, ahead of next month’s elections into the board.

The ex-governor told newsmen that “I am interested in becoming the next president of the NFF,” Elections into the NFF board have already been fixed for the 26th of August.

“I will run for the position if the atmosphere is good,” he stated.

Kalu, who served as governor for eight years in Abia state, South East Nigeria also posited that Nigeria will be the first African side to win the world cup, with him in charge.

“I believe Nigeria can win the world if I become the NFF president,” he concluded.
