Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has been listed to start against Uganda, thereby earning his 100th international cap in front of his home crowd in Uyo.
Coach Daniel Amokachi’s starting list includes three debutants in Odion Ighalo, Chima Akas and Nelson Ogbonnaya.

Konl striker Anthony Ujah returns to the starting line for the first time since the 2013 Confederations Cup in Brazil. He joins Ahmed Musa and Ighalo in a three-pronged attack.

Ogenyi Onazi and Hope Akpan reprise their roles from the Afcon qualifiers and are joined by Sone Aluko.

Conspicuously missing in defense is Godfrey Oboabona who will watch from the bench as old partner Kenneth Omeruo partners newcomer Ogbonnaya while Leon Balogun returns to the right back for the first time since injuring himself during a friendly ahead of the World Cup. Akas would play in left back.
