NNL: Adama Stress Kogi United Readiness
Chairman of Kogi State-owned Nigeria National League team Kogi United Fc Mallam Abdul Adama is confident the Wada Boys will make a bold statement when the 2013/2014 league season kicks-off.
The Igala born Chairman, who monitored the screening activities of the club under the leadership of Coach Fatai Osho from the start to finish, assured Kogites that government will not relent its efforts in ensuring that Kogi United joins the league of champions in the Nigeria football.
Chairman Abdul Adama said that the team is ready for the new season ahead, while also declaring to football fans: “expect the best from Kogi United” next season.
Technical director of the team Abdul Sule also believes the team is doing well and wishes Coach Fatai Osho and his boys goodluck in its 2013/2014 season activities.
Goals from Adam Tijani, Samuel Ganda, Jamilu Adamu Rilwanu and Aminu Abdulkadir all newly recruited players saw Kogi United defeated Ditche FC of Lokoja 4-0 during the weekend at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium, the home of the Wada boys.
