The former Gabros International Football Club of Nnewi, merchant tactician, while speaking with newsmen after the match, hails his wards for the fighting spirit they shown but rue missed chances for not picking point from the game.

“It was a good game, the officiating was perfect and Prime needed the match at all cost. We played well and lost the game and we will go back home and work on our team. The league is so tight now,” the stocky built tactician begins.

“Prime is a good side, they fought so well to secure the victory, they had their opportunity and they converted it but, we also failed to convert the chances we created and I think Prime were the better side of the game.”

Lawrence hailed his players for an outstanding display, although he emphasised that he felt they could have done much better.

“I think my players did a fantastic job here today against Prime, we had a little period where we took our foot wrongly, I believe we should have scored, but I give my players a pass mark.”
