NNL First Round Assessment: Abdul Adama hails Kogi United’s campaign
Chairman of Kogi United Football Club of Lokoja, Abdul Adama has expressed satisfaction with performance of the club in the first round of Nigeria National League (NNL) after played fifteen matches of its campaign.
Adama who spoke through the club’s media officer, Wale Mustapha in Lokoja said that his satisfaction was in spite of the 1-0 loss of Kogi United to TEAP FC in the Week 15 match played in Abuja.
His team’s dominance of play in the encounter he said, was a consolation showing his Boys would get better at the next stage.

“It is a bit painful we lost because we expected to get a better result here and end this round on a sound note, we dominated the larger part of the game.
“The water-logged pitch was not good for us to enjoy the game, but I really can’t help it, football has always being like this, I don’t want to blame anybody for the loss.”
Abdul Adama who is also the Special adviser to Kogi State Governor on Public Private Partnership, (PPP) said Kogi United had lived up to expectation with its performance just as he hoped for better outing in the last round of the league.
“I think we should be commended, this is just the half way trip, We can still get better. We will continue to try to make it right,” said Adama.
