NNL: Gov Wada Acquires New Camp for Kogi United
The sport loving Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State has acquired a new, well-furnished state-of-the-art camp for Kogi United Football Club. This further buttresses Gov Wada’s commitment to the welfare of the Lokoja-based Nigeria National League team.
The Chairman of the club, Mallam Abdul Adama revealed this to newsmen in Lokoja.
While commending the governor, Adama praised Governor Idris Wada’s sincerity of purpose and continued support for the repositioning of
the club. He noted that Gov Wada is matching his words with actions.
The Kogi-born football administrator tasked the players and officials to show high-level of discipline and hard work required to take the club to the top.
Mr. Henry Ameh, the team manager and newly appointed captain of the team, Abiodun Afolabi who spoke on behalf of officials and players respectively commended the state governor and the chairman for their relentless efforts in giving them the best of welfare and motivation.
They promised the state governor and the people of Kogi state that the club will do everything possible not to disappoint, but work hard to achieve the set target.
