NNL: Kogi United Boss Harp on Discipline, Backs Osho
The Chairman of Kogi United Football Club, Mallam Abdul Adama has reiterated his determination to ensure Kogi state own a strong Nigeria National League side that is built on discipline.
Mallam Adama who spoke to journalists in Lokoja during the screening exercise emphasized on discipline as the bedrock to having a successful football club.
According to him, “Judging from my track records, I want the team to be built on the foundation of discipline – i look towards having a discipline players who are competent to play match without fear on winning when playing home or away.”
He promised not to interfere in the decision of the technical crew led by Coach Fatai Osho in selection of players, though will offer suggestions while insisting getting good results remains the top priority.
“I do not expect anyone to come as an automatic player – everybody, both old and new will come to fight for their shirt; l going to watch the screening and will ask questions where necessary.
“l will not intervene in the selection of the coaches, it is on the result that l will hold them responsible,” the Kogi-born football administrator and disciplinarian added.
