NNL: Kwara Utd GM Seeks Focus, Unuanel Free Players to Exit

The new General Manager of Kwara Utd football Club of Ilorin, Muhammed Haruna Maigidasanma, has charged the palyers and officials of the club to be focus to ensure promotion back to the Globacom Premier League next season.

Maigidasanma made the charge at the Monday morning training session of the team at the state stadium complex Ilorin, while addressing the players and officials of the club for the first time as the new general manager of the team.

He told the players of the club that it is a new dawn at the club and assured them that his management will give the team all necessary support to gain promotion next season.

The new Kwara Utd GM explained to the players and officials that their welfare is paramount to the state governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed saying nothing will be left unturned to ensure they are comfortable while with the team.

He promised to operate an open door policy saying they are free to call on him 24hrs everyday nothing that Kwara is their first home which they must ensure it is in order.

Also speaking at the Monday morning training session, the Technical Adviser (TA) of the team, Samson Unuanel, called on the players to be more focus this time around.

He said the idea of having a general manager this time is to tell them that the state government wants a response from what happened last season this season.

He promised not to stand on the way of any player who may want to leave the team but assured them they will not regret staying with the team even though he appealed to them to make up for what happened last time.

“I want to have all of you to work with again, but if you want to leave, tell us, don’t deceive us because we will not stand on your way” Unuanel told the players.

Responding on behave of the players, the captain of the team, Sheriff Jimoh, promised that his mates are ready to give their best and assured the new management of their resolve to gain promotion come next season.

Some of the players said they are happy to have Samson Unuanel back as their coach.

Also in attendance at the training ground is the new secretary of the club, Bako Ibrahim, the Team Manager Agboola Ibrahim Basambo, the Protocol Officer, Ademola Kiyesola as well as the coaches of the club.
