NNWL: Ajiroba FC Quizzes 10 Coaches, Begins Screening Monday

No fewer than ten coaches from the fourteen that applied for the vacant technical adviser post atajiroba Nigeria Nation-Wide League side, Ajiroba Ooni Football Club of Ile-Ife went through rigorous screening and interview exercise during the week.

Former coach, Oluwashina Afolabi, joined Prime Football Club, at the end of last season making the plum job vacant.

We can exclusively report that three among the coaches were shortlisted for scrutiny, while a substantive technical adviser will be named on Monday.

Speaking with our correspondent, the sole financier of the team, Otunba Rasaq Mustapha, expressed excitement and vowed that the best among the coaches will be picked.

Meanwhile, the team will start preparation for 2013\2014 football season on Monday.

The club president said that the team will throw their camp open from Monday December 9, for one month intensive screening exercise.

However, the first edition of Alhaja Sikirat Mustapha memorial football competition will kick off tomorrow Sunday December 8, at Ife Anglican Grammar School, in remembrance of Ajiroba Ooni FC President mother.

Nigeria Football Coaches Association (Ile Ife zone) in conjunction with Al-Wydaad Entertainment organized the two weeks competition.
