NPFL: Ocheje, Douhadji returns for Dolphins ahead of Enyimba showdown

Goalkeeper, Moses Ocheje makes the Dolphins’ match day 17 squad against Enyimba in Aba for the first time since April 23 when he tore a muscle in the home game against Warri Wolves. He had started the previous game against Gombe United at the Pantami Stadium.

Ocheje has made just two appearances for Dolphins since he joined from Sunshine Stars in the off season.

Togolese Joseph Douhadji also returns to the match day squad after being left out of the last three games against Bayelsa United and Akwa United in Port Harcourt and Nembe City in Omoku. Douhadji last played against ElKanemi Warriors in Kano in Match Day 12.

Another returnee to the match day squad is Chidiebere Okolie who is in his second season with the club having signed from Sharks.

Okolie last played for Dolphins in the rescheduled Week 2 game against Giwa FC on April 16.

He lost his place first to Mendy Xavier and then to Johnathan Zikiye who went on to score on his debut against Abia Warriors.

Out injured are Hope Fiberesima has not played since April 12 in Port Harcourt against Rangers. He has suffered muscle problems and is yet to resume training.

Bolaji Sarkin has a elbow injury and has been out for three match days while Ebube Okpokwu has a groin problem and remains out of this one.

Ayobami Asekunowo was taken off injured early in the game against Bayelsa United on Saturday. He had a groin problem.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Olowo’s red card against Bayelsa United ensures he is out of this game.

His red card was the 5th by a Dolphins player this season.

Other players who have been red carded are Hope Fiberesima (against Sunshine Stars), Victor Alegbe (against Sharks), Tijani Adamu and Xavier Mendy (against Kaduna United.

Emem Eduok’s 10th minute goal against Bayelsa United on Saturday was his first in 397 minutes for the club

His last goal was against Abia Warriors on April 30, Match day 10.
