The game billed for the Estádio Nacional de Brasilia will see both countries face for the first time in Fifa World Cup history as they eye a place in the quarter final.

According to the passionate sports administrator, a win for Stephen Keshi’s side will go a long way in appreciating the huge investment of President Goodluck Jonathan on the team and football in the country at large.

“Our dear President has contributed so much and still contributing to the development and promotion of sports in this country including football and the result has been evidently clear,” said Elegbeleye.

“He has not for one day stopped supporting sports. That is why we have achieved all the positive results we have done so far.

“So I am using this medium to charge the Super Eagles team to go all out to beat France in tomorrow’s (Monday) World Cup second round battle and book a place in the quarter-finals of this competition.

“I am confident that the team will beat France to say a big Thank you to Mr. President”, he concluded.

The winner between France and Nigeria will square up with the winner between Algeria and Germany in the quarter final.
