Nuhu Ribadu dumps APC for PDP to contest for Adamawa Governorship sit

Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and one time Presidential candidate, Nuhu Ribadu, has dumped the All Progressives Party (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ribadu’s confirmation of his exit from APC has finally come after the much discussed speculations of his political career in the political stratosphere over the past few days when allegations of defection to the PDP were brought forward by the media.

Ribadu’s move was confirmed by a member of the executive committee of the PDP in Bako, Ribadu’s ward in Yola South Local Government Area.

Ribadu is likely to affirm his intentions to run for the position of governor of Adamawa in the upcoming state election due to stage on October 11.
