The coach Kayode Olujohungbe side defeated Confluence Queens of Lokoja 2-0 in the Week 21 women league game on Sunday at the Akure Stadium.

“We may change things a little bit, but not a lot at all because we must make use of our scoring chances. But Pelican is a good side and you need to be aware of this, so we may adjust slightly.

“No injury problem in the camp and all the girls are fully ready so that is an option for us and good for us too. We’ll need them all and it’s important that we have all our options fit and ready”, said the Sunshine Queens coach.

Meanwhile Sunshine Queens attacking midfielder, Elizabeth Zirike, who played a key role in the first leg in Calabar said she is ready and determined to see off the Pelican stars.

“So far so good, I am enjoying my playing. We scored good goals (against Confluence Queens) and it something we are looking forward to. As a player you want to win matches, and as a team we are working very hard to create goal scoring chances.

“We had a fantastic point on Sunday and now we have a big game today and this will give us great confidence going into that.

“We have got great character, great togetherness and some leaders out there that keep us going. We also have great players to go with that.

“We never give up and at this level that is massive. We have always shown over the years that Sunshine Queens is going to battle like mad right until the end”, Zirike said.
