NWPL: Sunshine Queens ready for Osun Babes challenge

Head Coach, Sunshine Queens FC, Kayode Olujoungbe has said his team is already thinking about the clash against Osun Babes in Osogbo in the Week 16 of the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) on Saturday.

The Akure based team defeated the Osun side 1-0 in the first leg in Akure.

Olujoungbe, who has just been appointed the team coach, said that they are all happy and ready for the challenge against their opponents on Saturday.

“We are very happy and the spirit in camp is high. The girls are doing great in training and with God on our side, we will win in Osun.

“We played very well against Kogi Confluence in the Federation Cup in Benin and we are happy for that.

“We’ve our eyes on the podium, two or three matches we’re right there and we’re determined not to leave any stone unturned to ensure we achieve our goal.

“Our thinking is very positive and we are already focusing on the next match in Osogbo on Saturday,” the former Sunshine Stars assistant coach said.
