Mr Simeon Bankole, the Oyo State NYSC Head of Public Relations Unit, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Ibadan.

Bankole said the orientation course in Oyo State would hold from Aug. 5 to Aug. 26th at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Gbakuta, Iseyin, in Oyo State.

He said the swearing-in ceremony would be performed by the Oyo State Chief Judge, Justice Badejoko Adeniji, on Aug. 7.

“It’s expected that Gov. Abiola Ajimobi will preside over the ceremony and declare the orientation course open,” he said.

Bankole urged the people of Oyo to join the NYSC in welcoming the corps members to the state.

He appealed to transporters to accord all reporting members cordial treatment, especially in terms of transport fares.

“In the same vein, we invite media houses in the state to give adequate publicity to the event,” he said.
