Oba Ovoranmwen Cup: Dynamite tackles BJ Foundation in S/F Monday, Benin Vipers in Final

Benin Vipers Football Club has qualify for the final of the on-going Oba Ovoranmwen Centenary Football Championship in the accient city of Benin, the capital Edo state.

Vipers also defeated Joefeb Football Club by two goals to one in the semi-final they are through to the final.

The finalists earlier in the quarter final match played, defeated Santors FC by two goals to one.

Meanwhile Dyamite Football Club will be playing BJ Foundation FC in the second semi-final, after they defeated Ine stars by three goals to two in the quarter-final match.

A win for BJ foundation FC could help them progress to the final, while a draw for
Dynamite FC will them through to final.

According to the tournament Director, Ikponwosa Edebiri,”the final will comes
up next year with other activities of the centenary celebration, i want to
say so far the tournament have live up to expectation and talents have be
discover and the aim i can say has be achieve but i hope by next year
edition we will improve on some areas.”

The final has been fixed for next year January 14th 2014 at the Sam Ogbemudia stadium, Benin.
