Ogonna Chukwudi netted the winner as Kristianstad secured a 2-0 win over 10-woman Limhamn Bunkeflo in a Swedish Damallsvenskan game on Sunday evening.

The hosts took the lead in the 24rd-minute courtesy Therese Ivarsson before Nellie Lilja was handed a marching order in the 44th minute at the Vilans IP stadium.

In the 62nd minute, the former Super Falcons midfielder sealed her side’s victory to return back to winning ways after defeats against Eskilstuna United and Linköping.

Ogonna’s goal was her third in 19 appearances for Elizabeth Gunnarsdottir’s side, who are fifth on the table with 27 points from 20 games.

The 29-year-old Nigeria forward will be hoping alongside her compatriot Rita Chikwelu to get more goals when they visit eight-placed Hammarby on November 5.
