Attai Aidoko - Senator
Aidoko in a reaction to the motion moved by Sen Andy Mba from Anambra state, asking the federal government to include Anambra State among the NDDC states during the senate sitting on Tuesday, 16th of December, 2014.

Sen Aidoko said the oil which Anambra state is laying claim to is never found within the geography of Anambra state, that the oil lies in its entity within Kogi State territory.

In a swift reaction, the Senator representing Enugu North Senatorial District, Sen AYOGU EZE said, the disputed oil wells along the kogi basin is between Enegu and Kogi states, that Anambra state can’t even lay claim to the ownership of the oil.

The president of the senate, David Mark asked the worrying senators to remain calm and to allow the National Boundary Commission to do their work in tracing the original map along the disputed areas.

Senator Aidoko therefore, urged the National Boundary Commission to intensify effort in bringing the boundary issue to an end as soso as possible.
