Okpodu is not fit for Super Falcons’ job – Peters
Sam Okpodu is not the right candidate for the vacant Super Falcons position in the National senior women team, according to the new Assistant Technical Director for Nigeria Football Federation on Women Football, James Peter.
The Nigeria Football Federation’s former Assistant General Secretary of Technical has warned that employing Sam Okpodu as the Chief Coach of the Super Falcons would set the team backward.
Jame Peters’ warned the Federation not to make another mistake it made when it appointed Kadiri Ikhana after the exit of the Uche Eucharia.
He noted that Okpodu has nothing new to offer the team insisting that the former African Champions only needs a coach who understands the Nigeria female football terrain.
He argued that Okpodu has lost touch with the reality of the female football coaching in Nigeria and will not be able to lift the team from the level it is now.
