Ondo’s Gov Mimiko Gets Club Owners Applause over Akinbobola’s Appointment

The Association of Nigeria Premier League Club Owners has commended Ondo state governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko for appointing one of its members Hon. Akin Akinbobola as the executive chairman of the ondo state football Agency.

According to a statement by the Acting chairman of the Club Owners Barr. Isaac Danladi, the appointment of Hon. Akinbobola as the new helmsman of the Agency clearly indicates that Gov. Mimiko is a visionary leader and a true sportsman.

The club Owners boss who doubles as the chairman of Nasarawa united FC described the appointment as well deserved in view of Hon. Akinbobola’s wealth of experience in football Administration both at his home state and even at the National level where he rose to the position of an Executive board member of the Nigeria Premier League.

He urged the new ODSFA boss to ensure that he brings his wealth of experience to bear as he effects positive changes in the organization, just as he charged him to carry along all the relevant stakeholders in the task ahead.

Danladi further assured Hon. Akinbobola of maximum cooperation from members of the club owners as he steer the football Agency to a greater height.
