Osun Babes drop three players for poor performance

The management of the Nigerian Women Premier League Side, Osun Babes F.C of Osogbo have parted ways and terminated the contracts of three of their players, namely Nnoacha Linda,Nwaeze Anthonia and Nkoro Joy, for low productivity to the team.

The Omoluabi Queens have, though, opted to exercise patience on two of its players, Yakubu Sarah and Amadi Geraldine, who have been so far placed on half salary, according to the Media officer of the side Olayinka Olawole, the players have been tasked by the Management to live up to expectation, as they really have to improve on their performances, with the second stanza of the NWPL, resuming this weekend.

Meanwhile, the team has signed in three more players to fortify and bolster the squad’s performance in the second part of the league, they are former Ineh Queens midfielder Sunday Glory, Ex Fct Queens Striker Enyeoha Amarachi and lastly Okafor Chinenye.

The Chairman of the club, Akin Adio, has however charged the new players to work very hard, so as to make an impact for their new team.

He also wished the three players, placed on free transfer, the best of luck in their future endeavours and thanked them for their contributions to the club success over the years, as the club will continue in its policy to sign young players and nuture them to their peak.

Osun Babes are currently 4th on the log of the NWPL(Nigerian Women Premier League) with 18points from 11 games so far,and will face Ibom Angels on Saturday may 31st 2014.
