Paris 2024: Favour Ofili misses out on Olympic medal

Nigeria’s Favour Ofili missed out on medals in their respective events at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Tuesday.

Favour Ofili finished sixth in the final of women’s 200m in a time of 22.24s.

Despite the omission of her name from the 100m, Ofili a put up wonderful fight to reach the final of the 200m.

United States of America’s Gabrielle Thomas won gold with 21.83s as Julien Alfred, who won the 100m finished second in 22.08s.

America’s Brittany Brown won bronze in 22.20s.

Ofili is the 2019 African Games silver medallist in the 400 metres.

She won silver for the 200 metres at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
