Peter Dedevbo drops six players, Falconets face Sunshine Queens in friendly
Coach Peter Dedevbo has asked out six players from the Falconets camp for not meeting up to the required standard as Nigeria step up preparation for August’s Fifa Women World Cup billed for Canada.
The causalities are Lillian Tula (Taraba Queens), David Florence (Tewo Queens), Sidi Ajibola (FC Robo), Uchegbo Chidinma (Yaba Queens) and Ayomide Ojo (Police team Lagos) while Fasilat Adeyemo was shown the exit door for failing to show up three weeks after camp resumed.
Meanwhile the team will face Sunshine Queens in a warm up game billed for the Akure Township Stadium on Wednesday May 28, 2014.
Nigeria will face England, Mexico and Korea Republic in Group C of the preliminary round of the 2014 Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup.
