A forum known as Social Cultural Group, SCG, under the auspices of Yagba People’s Forum has called on Senator Smart Adeyemi to contest for the president of Nigeria in 2015 general elections.
Acoording to the Forum, the move was in view of the political imbalance and power rotation doctrine among the major ethnic group in the Nigeria which give Kogi as part of the North central access ,
The forum during an emergency meeting held in Isanlu township hall , headquarters Yagba East local government area of kogi state, said since it was the turn of the North to produce the president in 2015, there was nothing wrong for an Okun yoruba man to contest for the coveted seat
In a communique recieved by SavidNews signed by the chairman of the forum, Chief Moody Olorunmolu and the secretary Chief JO Yusuf, the forum said having been following the enviable performances of senator Adeyemi at the senate for over six years, it was convinced beyond measure that Adeyemi has all it takes to lead the nation
The communique described senator Adeyemi as a man of impeccable character which the North can rely on in the 2015 general elections.

for the convocation of national conference to correct the imbalances
inherent in the current federal system of government
