President Unity Cup: Finals Moved to Monday for Wada
The finals billed for Sunday, 22nd December has been rescheduled for Monday owing to intended presence of the kogi state governor, Captain Idris Wada at the finals of the YSFON President Unity Cup U-17 boys Soccer Championship in Lokoja .
Speaking for the organizers, the Vice President of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, (YSFON), Honorable Mustapha Allah-Dey confirmed that the likely absence of the state governor who is the sole sponsor of this year’s edition on Sunday has instigated the shift.
He explained that owing to a very-tight schedules of the governor at the weekend, adding that his presence at the final on Monday has been confirmed.
Hosts and sponsor, Governor Idris Ichalla Wada is now expected in attendance for grand finale on Monday by 3:30pm at the Kogi Confluence stadium, Lokoja.
