Mighty Warriors team manager Charity Munemo and Assistant coach Sithethelelwe Sibanda are in Rio De Jeneiro, Brazil ahead of the Olympic draw slated for April 14, 2016.
The Zimbabwe Women’s team who have qualified for the first time in the global showcase will be joined by their COSAFA rivals South Africa.
These two representatives from Southern Africa will be hoping for a lucky draw.
Other nations that have qualified for the Olympics are Brazil (as hosts), Colombia, Canada, China People’s Republic, New Zealand, France, Australia, Sweden, Germany, and the USA.
According to the latest FIFA rankings the best ranked team is USA followed by Germany (2), France (3), England (4) and Australia at number 5.
The 12 sides will be drawn into three groups of four (named Groups E-G). The pot allocation for the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament is as follows:

Pot 2: France, Australia, Sweden
Pot 3: Canada, China PR, New Zealand
Pot 4: Colombia, South Africa, Zimbabwe
