Rio 2016 Qualifier: Day 2 Fixtures as Nigeria face Sierra Leone & Ghana in Women’s Beach Volleyball

Nigeria will on Friday continue their campaign for a place in the Women’s Beach Volleyball tournament at the Rio 2016 Olympic after an impressive opening start in the African qualifier championship yesterday at Jabi
Lake, Abuja.

Nigerian ladies defeated Mauritius and Gambia 20 in both sets raise their qualification prospect in the round robin qualifying tournament of the African Women’s Beach Volleyball Olympic qualifier.

The hosts are drawn alongside Mauritius, Ghana, Gambia and Sierra Leone in Group A, while Rwanda, Morocco, Egypt, Mozambique and Namibia made up Group B.

On Friday, Nigeria will face Sierra Leone in the morning for their third game of the championship before taking on Ghana later in the afternoon.
