Rivers Gets new refinery underway in Ogu/bolo

The Rivers State Government now has a license to operate a refinery in Ogu/bolo local government area of Rivers State.

The refinery will be operated under a Public Private Partnership initiative.

The Rivers State Commissioner for Energy and Natural Resources Mr Okey Amadi at a meeting with Chiefs of Ikpokiri Community said the Federal Government has issued operational licence to Rivers State.

Mr Okey Amadi also called on the Chiefs to cooperated with the State Government in actualizing the multi million naira project.

He told the Chiefs that the project will generate employment opportunities and boost economic activities in the area as well as the State.
