The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Rivers State Governor, Opunabo Inko-Tariah, on Friday announced his resignation from the position.

Inko-Tariah made the resignation announcement on a local radio station at 10 am in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

In his offered reasons, governor Nyesom Wike’s media aide, who is also the Publisher of Port Harcourt-based Hard Truth newspaper, claimed that his resignation was due to Wike’s failure to service his office of funds and refusal of his advice.

However, it is still uncleared what was behind the break down in communication between governor Nyesom Wike and his media adviser as at when this report was filed.
