Senate President Bukola Saraki appoints new media aides

Senate President Bukola Saraki yesterday appointed three new media aides.

In a press statement issued by the Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Benedict Efeturi, the new appointees are Bankole Omisore as Special Assistant on New Media with Sani Onogo Momoh as his Press Secretary while Chuks Okocha will serve as the Special Assistant on print media.

While Bankole Omisore had been serving as the media assistant to the Senate President before his new appointment, Sani Onugo was a senate correspondent with the Nation Newspapers while Chuks Okocha was with Thisday newspapers Saraki had earlier appointed Senator Isa Galaudu as his Chief of Staff, and Yusuph Adesola Olaniyonu as Special Adviser on Media.

Senator Isa Galaudu, who was elected in 2011, served in the 7th senate and represented Kebbi North Senatorial district in the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

Also, Yusuph Adesola Olaniyonu, a former Sunday Editor of the Thisday Newspaper, was the immediate past Commissioner for Information, Communication and Strategy in Ogun State between 2011 and 2015.
