Contrary to reports that Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has walked out on his employers to go and settle for his other suitors, the Sports Minister, Dr Tammy Danagogo, has called him up to appeal to his sense of nationalism.

Danagogo, it was reported pulled a call to Keshi’s manager, Emmanuel Ado, to plead for the nation to be rescued in this hour of need. Several other top government officials also pulled calls directly to Keshi and he has accepted to serve until after the two September fixtures of the national team.

As it is now, I can guarantee the fact the Keshi will manage the Super Eagles bench in the two matches all because of the love he has for his fans who had been expressing pain at his leaving, the senior government officials who had intervened and especially, the sports minister, Dr Danagogo.

After the matches, the issues of his contract will be sorted out, said Ado in a telephone chat with where he disclosed this cheery news to Nigerians.
