Tobi Amusan: “It’s my season” as she reaches semifinals of women’s 100m hurdles

Following her impressive victory in the women’s 100m hurdles heat at the Paris 2024 Olympics, World Record Holder Tobi Amusan shared her excitement and reflections on progressing to the semifinals on Wednesday.
Amusan, who secured her place with a commanding time of 12.49 seconds, expressed her satisfaction with her performance and her optimism for the races ahead.
“I felt strong and confident out there today,” Amusan told MakingofChampions.
“Winning the heat with such a time gives me a great boost going into the semifinals.”
Reflecting on her journey, Amusan added, “The first time I came as an Olympian, I was like 18/19, the second time I think I was a little bit experienced and I didn’t get on the podium, this time I think, it’s my season.”
