Yomi Assures on Completion of Yagba Road Project

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State and the Lisa of Mopaland, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi has assured the people of Takete-Ide that the Orokere-Ayede Amuro-Otafun road will be completed by the State Government soon.

He made the promise at a fundraiser in Takete Ide Amuro where he was Special Guest of Honour recently.

The Deputy Governor expressed the commitment of the present administration in the state to complete all ongoing projects initiated by the immediate past administration in the state.

Arc. Awoniyi harped on the need for the state to fix her infrastructure in order to actualize the Transformation Agenda of the state government, calling on all Kogites to keep faith with the present administration in the state.

Awoniyi assured the people of the state that the government of Alhaji Idris Wada is determined to transform the state and make it the economic hotspot of the nation.

Speaking at the event, the National President of the Takete Ide Progressive Union, TIPU, thanked the Deputy Governor for making it a point of duty to honour the people of Takete Ide with his presence.

Senator Smart Adeyemi, Hon. Sunday Karimi, Hon. Folusho Daniel and some other dignitaries sent their donations.

Over 3 million naira was said to be realized at the fundraiser.
