Abuja set to host Africa's strongest as over 400 athletes prepare for 14th Armwrestling Championship
In just 16 days, Africa's capital of strength will rise as Abuja hosts the 14th African Armwrestling Championship and 7th Para-Armwrestling Championship from July 23–27, 2025. Over 400 elite athletes and officials from 20 nations will compete for continental glory in a festival of power, unity, and sport.

Speaking on preparations, Hon. Adeboye Adeyinka, LOC Chairman and SSA to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, stated:
