Charlotte Adjei joins Edo Queens
Edo Queens FC, have bolstered their squad with the signing of Ghanaian international goalkeeper Adjei Charlotte, signalling their ambitions for the upcoming season.
The official unveiling ceremony was held in Benin City, attended by key dignitaries, including the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, and Edo Queens General Manager, Mr. Rollanson Odeh.
Hon. Enabulele praised the acquisition, calling it a major move that underlines the club’s aspirations

Charlotte joins Edo Queens after a stellar 2024/25 NWFL Premiership season with Remo Stars Ladies, where she was crowned Best Goalkeeper of the Season. The shot-stopper kept 10 clean sheets in 19 matches, earning a ₦200,000 cash prize from the Judith Chime Foundation in recognition of her standout performances.
Her career resume also includes spells with Rivers Angels, one of Nigeria’s most decorated women’s teams, and Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies, giving her invaluable experience across top-tier West African football.
Speaking on the club’s recruitment drive, GM Rollanson Odeh stated:
“This signing is in line with our mission to challenge for trophies and build a formidable team. We believe Charlotte brings the quality and professionalism we need as we push for silverware.”
The arrival of Adjei Charlotte adds further depth and pedigree to an already talented Edo Queens squad.
