Police called after dispute over three-year-old soccer prodigy in Florida Youth League

Police were reportedly called following a dispute involving the parents of a three-year-old soccer player who allegedly outperformed older children during a youth league match in Winter Park, Florida.

The incident occurred during an i9 Sports youth soccer match, where the toddler, identified as Nevada, was playing in a division involving five-year-old children.

According to viral videos shared by Nevada’s family, some parents of opposing players became frustrated because the older children struggled to dispossess the three-year-old.

The situation reportedly escalated after some parents accused Nevada of holding onto the ball for too long and “trying to put on a show,” leading to tensions along the sidelines.

The disagreement eventually resulted in law enforcement becoming involved, turning what began as a youth football match into a dispute between families.

The incident culminated in the league reportedly issuing a trespass notice to Nevada’s family. Police officers subsequently escorted the family away from the field, and the young player was removed from the league.

The episode has sparked attention online, with the circumstances surrounding the dispute raising questions about parental conduct and the handling of competitive tensions in children’s grassroots sports.
