The Nigerian team received a warm welcome from Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, H.E. Ambassador Sen Ita Enang, alongside officials of the Nigerian diplomatic mission in Berlin.

The arrival signals the final phase of D’Tigress’ preparations for the global showpiece, scheduled to take place in Berlin from September 4 to 13, 2026.

D’Tigress head into the competition as the reigning African champions after making history by winning a record fifth consecutive FIBA Women’s AfroBasket title.
