Head coach of Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, Hakeem Busari, is set to take charge of Remo Stars Ladies.

 Busari, who recently guided the Flamingos to the 2026 WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup title in Côte d’Ivoire, is expected to be unveiled as the new head coach of the Sky Blue Stars Ladies.

 He will replace Wemimo Matthew, who left the club for Bayelsa Queens following the expiration of her contract.

 Matthew had been in charge of Remo Stars Ladies for the past three seasons in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.

 Busari, meanwhile, has previously worked with Bayelsa Queens and Pacesetter Queens in the top flight before being appointed head coach of the Flamingos by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

 He also guided Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team through the qualifying campaign for the next FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
