NBSF appoints EEXSport as Exclusive Global Marketing and Communication Agency

The Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation (NBSF) has announced the appointment of EEXSport as its exclusive worldwide marketing, sponsorship, communications, media and digital agency.

The strategic partnership is in line with the federation’s mandate to strengthen governance, visibility and the sustainable development of baseball and softball in Nigeria. It also aligns with broader national sports development objectives and the Olympic Movement’s emphasis on institutional capacity building, commercial sustainability, athlete-centred growth and global engagement.

According to the federation, the agreement forms a key component of its reform agenda aimed at enhancing professionalism, transparency and international competitiveness.

Under the terms of the partnership, EEXSport will design and execute integrated marketing, sponsorship, communications, media and digital strategies to elevate the profile of baseball and softball in Nigeria and expand the federation’s commercial footprint.

Speaking on the appointment, NBSF President Uche Odozor described the move as a significant institutional milestone.

“This appointment reflects our commitment to building a modern, well-governed Federation aligned with global best practices and the values of the Olympic Movement. Sustainable growth in sport requires strong institutional structures beyond the field of play. Through this partnership with EEXSport, we are taking deliberate steps to enhance our commercial capacity, strengthen our communications, and create an enabling environment for athletes, officials, and development partners,” Odozor said.

He added that the collaboration would strengthen engagement with government institutions, the Nigeria Olympic Committee, continental and international federations, as well as private-sector stakeholders.

Chief Executive Officer of EEXSport, Emeka Enyadike, emphasized the developmental and innovation-driven objectives of the partnership.

“We are honoured to partner with the Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation at this important stage of its growth. Our approach is firmly rooted in the principles of the Olympic Movement, sustainability, good governance, and long-term value creation.

“We look forward to working closely with the Federation to build strong commercial frameworks, elevate its national and international profile, and support programmes that ultimately benefit athletes and the wider sports ecosystem,” Enyadike stated.

The agreement signals a new phase for the NBSF as it seeks to reposition baseball and softball within Nigeria’s evolving sports landscape through stronger governance structures and enhanced commercial strategy.
