Nigeria Customs Defeat Spiking Stars in CAVB Women’s Volleyball Championship

Nigeria Customs Service delivered an impressive performance, sweeping Botswana’s Spiking Stars 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-8) in their Pool B match on Friday at the ongoing CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship.

CNS controlled the match from start to finish, capitalising on their opponents' lack of experience.

The Nigerian side, fuelled by a passionate home crowd, won the first set 25-22 and weathered a tough challenge in the second, sealing it 25-21.

In the third, CNS took complete control, exploiting defensive gaps and wrapping up the match with a commanding 25-8 scoreline.

This win follows their opening victory, where CNS defeated Cameroon’s Mayo Kani Evolution Dames 3-0, securing their first win at the 2025 African Women’s Volleyball Championship in Abuja.
