In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2025, the FAME Foundation is organizing its Annual Women’s Day Football Tournament to celebrate women’s empowerment, teamwork, and inclusivity through sports.

This event will bring together women from diverse backgrounds, including market women and grassroots communities, to promote unity and participation in football.

The 2025 tournament will feature teams from various organizations, including Team FIDA, Team FAME, Team NUT (Nigeria Union of Teachers), Team ASWHAN, Team Bet9ja, Team IDP, Team FIRS, and Team ProSocial.

Beyond football, the event will also host an interactive educational session and provide free health screenings, including eye tests, cervical cancer screening, malaria testing, and other essential health services.

The tournament will take place on March 7, 2025, at 8:00 AM at the Area 3 Football Pitch, Abuja.
