The Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria (GFN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Turkish Gymnastics Federation aimed at strengthening the development of gymnastics in Nigeria.

The agreement will facilitate the training and development of Nigerian coaches and judges across various gymnastics disciplines.

Under the partnership, Nigerian technical officials are expected to gain access to improved training opportunities, knowledge and technical expertise, with the goal of raising the standard of gymnastics in the country.

The GFN believes the collaboration with its Turkish counterpart will make a significant contribution to capacity building while supporting the overall growth and development of gymnastics in Nigeria.

The federation expressed optimism that the partnership will help equip coaches and judges with the skills and expertise required to further advance the sport at both domestic and international levels.
